Archicad 29 Library organized two different ways in Archicad template vs. custom template?

In trying to update my company template from AC27 to AC29, I'm struggling with the new library. I transitioned my original file from AC27 to AC28 and then to AC29 and am trying to bring in the new global library. I mostly have it working, but what I don't like is how the object library is organized. Image 1 below shows how it is organized when I load in the AC29 libpack files directly (I'm using the most recent library update). It organizes it in groups: basic, visualization, and add-on. However if I open the template file that comes with the AC29 download, the library objects are organized by masterformat categories (image 2 attached), which I'd much prefer when going to search for them. As far as I can tell, the libraries uploaded in each file are exactly the same. Why the difference? I don't want to have to start from scratch on my template file, but it seems I may need to given the number of issues I'm having in the transition.

You need to set the "Library Localization Preferences" to USA - English (United States) in order to get the masterformat category sorting. Without applying this step, migrated files will default to the INT sorting.

See the "How to change language and folder structure (Existing project workflow)" section of the article below for instructions on how to change that setting https://help.graphisoft.com/AC/29/INT/_AC29_Help/020_Configuration/020_Configuration-42.htm#XREF_102...
