Archicad 29 Multi Slide Door USA Library

I did a search of the forum and did not see anything regarding the Multi Slide Door library object for ArchiCAD 29. I made sure the 29 lib packs were loaded. Looked under 08 Openings/08 30 00 Specialty Doors and Frames/Sliding Doors, but do not see a new Multi Slide Door library part. I also did a search of the libraries loaded within ArchiCAD 29.

Maybe they are NOT part of the USA library...yet?

Operating system used: Windows 11

Hi @rgarand

You may be right, it doesn't appear to be in the US libpack.

Anyway you could check your Library Manager and look for Doors and Windows.libpack > Special Doors> Multipanel Sliding Door.gsm

These "Global" libraries are still a bit of a mess in my opinion.

My understanding is that you load the "Doors & Windows" library pack - this is the main INTernational pack that is the main base for everyone to use.

Then if you want to also use the USA door & windows or JPN or DACH, etc., then you also load those libraries.

When you open the default USA template, does it have the INT and USA libraries loaded, or just the USA?

It is not looking like it is in there. I need to read the "small print" per the library updates; maybe we will get them later.

Hi @rgarand

What I meant to say is that it's in the international library, not the US library.

Thanks Barry, this helps.

The USA template has the USA Libraries loaded. I loaded the "Doors & Windows" library pack and now see the multi-slide doors. I still need to understand and get used to loading the many library packs. I also need to update our template with the correct libraries.

Understood. I now have both libraries loaded and can see the Multi-Sliding door object. Thanks for your help.
