Bar joists in archicad

we can figure out how to draw a standard bar joist.. please give us some direction on how to make the bar joist slope.. for example.. a 28k10 bar joist w/ a 2 1/2" seat.. one bearing point is at 28'-8"... the other bearing end is at 26'-8".. i am on archicad 13

You say you can figure out how but don't tell us what method nor type of bar joist you are using. The beam tool slopes easily but only does a continuous profile. Library parts typically have parameters for slope (but not always, depends on the author). With the truss tool the slope is however you draw it.

Have you looked at the object Bar Joist 13? It has an angle option with its other parameters.
