Chaos Research

There is a book about chaos research from Heinz-Otto Peitgen and others, which has some demonstrating programms written in BASIC.
One of them describes a fern, which I converted to GDL; nice result.

What is the processing time like on that?

Just test it out. In the attechement you find the gdl file.
It depends on the number of iterations, which is a parameter.
The default setting (just as shown on the picture) took less than a second.

Nice picture.
I remember I did same cool fractal images in Basic
( 286 PC, EGA, good time )
