Create New Stair, Bottom Stair Type is unavailable

Hi all,

Has this stair type been made redundant or is there another reason why I can't choose this option when creating a stair? (see screenshot)

If you mean the very bottom one (custom stair) then you need to draw your fill and line of travel, select them then DESIGN menu > CREATE STAIR USING SELECTION.

What about having selected an existing Custom Stair in a Project and not being able to edit any of the parameters when you open the stair settings dialog box and choose - edit stair

You can't alter the landing width or the overall length or width as that would change the shape of your custom stair - and depending on the shape of your stair these values may mean nothing anyway.

But you should be able to alter all other values including the overall height (if you unlock it).
