Creating a customizable object

Hello,

I wanted to create a customizable object for the library based on the top left model - I want the keypoints to work in a way when I change the dimensions of the object, the effect would be like the bottom right model, but instead it creates the one on the top right - basically warping the geometry of the shapes on the sides. Do you guys know what's the way those things should be created? Do I need scripts?

Thank you for help!

Yes you will need to script it in GDL or create something in Paramo-o to make it parametric.

If you have technical questions about this, they are best asked in the GDL forum ... https://community.graphisoft.com/t5/GDL/bd-p/forum-gdl

Or Parametric Design forum for Param-o ... https://community.graphisoft.com/t5/Parametric-design/bd-p/forum-parametric

AI is getting smarter in GDL as well, interesting.

@Hmooslechner, I clicked the YouTube button to watch your video on YouTube and it started playing it auto-dubbed in English. Your German words were automatically translated to English in real time, and I heard something very similar to your voice as if you were talking in English in the video. Crazy. 😀
