Creating Mouldings

I'm having a few probs with creating mouldings. I have created some by using line tool to create the section and magic wand slab to it, then saving 3D as object.
However the problem is that i want to mitre the ends to form a return - i have tried to look at the scripts for existing mouldings but finding it tricky.
I need to create some to win a contract - what would be a quick way to overcome my mitre problem.
Can anyone help ???

Having only looked at the demo's, (which not all seem to work right), I do think Objective may be an option I would look at. Looks like a good product but maybe a bit more mellow
in the ad's Ralph?
Hi Bier.

I take your point about advertising. I'm no fan of it either, and it's difficult to know when to speak up and when to remain silent. I get many messages saying something like, "I just found out about OBJECTiVE - why hasn't anyone mentioned it before?" It's very difficult to get information in the right hands and in an appropriate way, so I endeavour to respond to questions where I think this product is likely to provide an answer. It seems the most appropriate way to put a solution into the hands of those who need it.

If any of our demo material didn't work as expected, please let me know and I'll make sure it gets fixed.

Don't forget to put the moulding walls on an non-intersecting layer!
I've been experimenting with mouldings with the wall profiles, but they sometimes seem to snap to the existing walls and make weird little glitches. If I put them on a new layer will that solve the problem? What do you mean by non-intersecting layers?

thanks

There is a number by the layer name. Elements -walls in this case - on the layers with the same number intersect, with the different numbers don't.

So place all the walls that are not really walls, but act as roofs, mouldings, etc etc etc - no end to alternative usage since Complex profiles - on specific layers, with the number different than the layer(s) with "real" walls.

Also useful in demolition plans. Find a topic on this, and it will tell you more.
