I'm learning GDL and practicing to create a rectangular by writing code.
The script was reported ok but it's not showing any lines.
Does any one know the reason ?
By the way, where is the best resource to learn GDL? I've been following the GDL help/tutorial in ArchiCAD but would like to have more material to learn.
Please advise
Many thanks

You can place a 3D statement in the 2D Script (like Rect a, b), and ArchiCAD will say the script is OK, but no shape will be created. Be sure that you are using 2D Shapes in the 2D Script.

By the way, you should download both versions (3.1 and 4.0) as 4.0 doesn't actually cover all the topics that 3.1 does, but it does have information on some of the newer GDL features.
