How to create hollow timber seat

Hi there, 

How would I create a hollow section seat like below using the slab tool? Or what is the best way to do this?

2 slabs (top and bottom) and walls for the sides.

Or create a complex profile and use the wall or beam tool and cap the ends with separate walls.

I would use a Segemented Beam with a Complex Profile. Rectrangle, hollow CP, rectangle.

ps. Unless you need to do a cabinetry section as the joint lines will meld, even when the layer is set to Intersection Group Zero.
