Creating timber slat wall and adding a matching door

Hi all,

I'm trying to create a timber slat wall with matching door for an outdoor shower. I created the slats out of the wall tool but a door won't show properly. Was that the right way to create the wall and how do I create a timber slat door that will show properly?

Any ideas please?
