How can I edit a curtain wall to have doors and to reduce the number of vertical members between glass?

Select the panel you want to change and pick the one you want from the pop-up list in the info palette.

Select any mullions you want to remove and press the delete key. The panels will alter to fill the space. You can also add mullions by dragging copies.

I assume you know that you have to be in edit mode in the 3D window to modify the curtain wall.

Thanks for the help!

I can now put in the doors and change the curtain wall types, but I am still having difficulty eliminating some of the mullions. I can delete some, but others won't allow me to delete. How can I further edit the curtain wall to have less mullions?

Which ones are you having trouble with? The only ones that can't be deleted as far as I know are the perimeter frames. This kind of s*cks for the doors where you want to blow out the bottom frame to be replaced by a threshold. The trick here is to just make it very thin.

I could understand not being able to delete the perimeter mullions, and making it thin helps to make the door look better, but I cant delete the vertical mullions that are in the center. I was able to delete the other one's, but not the center. Do you have any more ideas?

I haven't seen this. Perhaps a screen shot would help.

For mullions that don't delete, you can try selecting the mullion, opening its dialog box, and changing its type from Generic to Invisible.

You should add a Signature to your Profile (click the Profile button near the top of this page) with your ArchiCAD version and operating system (see mine for an example) for more accurate help in this forum.

I can make the middle mullions invisible, but then the glass has a gap in it that doesn't look good. How can I further edit my curtain wall? I can copy new vertical elements, but can't delete the originals and customize wall like I would like to. Let me know what else I should try to do. I deleted the mullions in the upper section but cant delete any more.

I am trying to edit the curtain wall. For the wall to the right, I want the two doors to take up the entire wall, not leave those gaps. The wall to the left, I want to get rid of the gaps between the glass. I changed those mullions to invisible since I couldn't delete them, but I think there should be a way to delete them and make it one solid piece of glass. I am open for any ideas.

I finally realized that when I am in 3d edit for curtain wall I can delete the mullions by clicking on one then selecting the button the highlights the entire vertical or horizontal mullion depending on which one you want, then you can delete.
