Hi Guys... I need some urgent help here!

I need to create some custom markers for sections, elevations, door and window markers etc. See attached pic!

Any of you GDL Experts have the time to assist me?

Hello, i`v been searching for this topic because in my country the standard for storey level marker heads is the black arrow type.
Unfortunately AC doesn`t have other level marker heads.

On the GDL depository there is a marker gdl but i can`t open it with on the Load other story marker dialog. I seems it doesn`t open gsm files.
It tells me "The selected file is not a Story Marker file. Please select a valid Story Marker file"

Can you tell me how to load another custom storey marker?

UPDATE

I`v found something strange wich i don`t understand.
I have cloned the built in story marker into another folder, changed its name, and when i try to open it on the "Load other story marker" dialog, it does open but all options go blank and cannot be edited.

Can't seem to find anything on this here, so I'll just ask...

Is it possible to make story markers relative to one of the LEVELS (in Levels and Project North)?

I want to keep main fin floor at 0... but it is really 231.0'... I have a SEA LEVEL as one of the "levels" but the text is not editable for story markers in Elev / Sect...

Apparently, I can create my own STORY MARKER (not sure as I don't see how to assign it anywhere)...

I've been using a LEVEL DIMENSION and duplicating all the story markers in EVERY ELEV AND SECTION.. but that's just not right!

If I understand you correctly then the Section Settings Dialog's Story Markers page has this parameter.
I renamed the 1st Reference Level to Sea Level and you can select which Reference Level the Story Level values should be relative to.
It worked for me.

Wow... that's the proverbial "Can't see the forest thru the trees"!

How did I miss that!

If you change the macro - is it wise to change the macro name as well?
I've added a new marker script to the built in marker's macro - but I'm not sure how it knows which macro to look at (when I change the name in master script it just defaults back to the original name after I close/reopen) - and I didn't want to override the built-in macro....

Has anyone been successful with this?

Actually - I figured it out - I had missed a whole lot of references within the parameter script of the macro - hence why my marker was not visible in the pull-down under marker type
