Custom openings in walls??????

Hellooo!

In need of some assistance...

I need to cut some custom shapes into a glass sheet (wall). I really dont have a clue how to do it. I think this is where archicad falls short in some respects, when it comes to bespoke, it nevers seems straight forward to execute.

I am working on 13 if anyone can be of any assistance. I have uploaded a PDF just to clarify what I need to do.

Thanks!

You could also experiment with using a complex profile assigned to a beam. It should automatically cut a hole through the wall in the shape of the profile. Place this beam on a special layer and turn it off to see the result in 3d. The main downside of this is that you wont see the result of the cut on the floorplan, so if this is important use the 'custom window' technique mentioned before.

P.S. Make sure you save the custom window object as 'Editable GDL script' and not 'Non-editable Binary' (See the easily missable 'Options' button in the save dialog box!) as it won't work otherwise!
