Delete unnecessary hotspot in 3d

Hi all,

I'm creating objects by using ArchiCAD tools, I can create the shape but there's many unnecessary hotspots when I select object. I don't know how to delete / hide them ?

Cool. Thanks. Also Eric, does your object have the same need to stay in the custom library with the objects that you create with it?

If that's the case it seems like some text should be added to make sure it travels with those new objects.

Yes, the custom object that embeds hotspots into the new user-defined object needs to remain in the embedded or linked library in order for the hotspots to remain active. Otherwise, there will be the usual missing object message.

I suppose if you save the new object as a binary (can you still do that any more? I haven't done it for years...) then it might not require that, but of course it would make the new object a lot less configurable.

Thanks Eric and Roberto for the tips!

One question: I have created a custom object with hotspots. Those hotspots appear on Floor Plan view and 3d views, but not on Section/Elevation views.

Why is that? Is there a way to have hotspot appear in section/elevation?
