To me, this sounds like the wrong MVO is tied to the views, or at least is getting reset somehow. When you are in a view where windows are missing, check the MVO settings and make sure that you have them set to display.

It's all about the settings.
Under BASIC WINDOW SETTINGS > WINDOW SETTING AND ATTRIBUTES > MODEL ATTRIBUTES > 3D DETAIL LEVEL
You need to adjust the 3D Detail level from "by MVO"to "FULL"
And VoilĂ !!!

Some of my settings must have gotten corrupted. Casement, fixed and awning windows were not displaying the sashes in 3d views, but other windows were fine. This fixed it. I was going nuts...
