Door labels

Why is the Label Settings dialog option grey and unavailable when editing an existing door?

I have a project full of existing doors that I would like to label (and therefore classify and list in a schedule including the properties of each... these things are possible thru the program, no? Building these schedules by hand is so ... tedious).

Am I stuck adding independent labels to each door, rather than labeling ALL similar doors similarly?

Once the doors are placed, edit their Label Settings through the Label tool (under its "Door Tool" heading.

... after you select the same doors using Find&Select
