Doors / Window Reveals

Ive drafted a house and each of the openings seems to display the wall incorrectly when the window / door reveal is sent to any setting other than None. for some inexplicable reason the wall edge on the reveal side disappears....Ive attached an image to demonstrate what i mean.
Has anyone come across this before and is there a solution?

Does the outside skin in the composite have 'use skin end lines' unticked in the composite settings?

What version of ArchiCAD are you using? Put it in your signature for future reference!
