Double-hung windows behave like single-hung

It's all in the subject, guys. I can't find how the two objects differ. Am I being blind or is it a bug?

To confirm: I can't see how to show the top half of the window in a not-closed state. Unless - am I misunderstanding the meaning of 'double-hung'?

The double hung window seems to only allow the bottom sash to open.

However it will show the opening direction lines for both sashes.
