Editing a Log Wall object?

Can I edit code on a Log Wall? When I go to my sections or elevations, I want to show coping that we use. Currently, I take my elevation/section and draw in a polyline then CTRL-U it up and edit/trim as needed.

But I want the wall to know that when I go to my sect/elev it should show that coping.

Any ideas?

I recently found a large number of threads in the wishes section stating they want seperate materials between plan and section/elevations. I guess this would work too, but it would be better if it would just show the coping without having to manually set it. Its a log wall afterall and should know that the coping is there.
