For those w/o extensive gdl expertise - objects availability

searching various "objects" about cyberspace, rarely on the standard US sites does one come across gdl objects, downloaded enabled for GS ArchiCAD versions.

For instance "American Standard Brands" typical under counter sink. See screen shot.

Are these the options:
1. learn and use gdl ?
2. commission gdl users ?
3. buy off the shelf similar products if not available in AC ?
4. demand objects from manufacturers ? (use to work...)
5. change software platforms ?
6. provide this poor AC user a cache of undiscovered AC compliant objects?
