License Delivery maintenance is expected to occur on Saturday, November 30, between 8 AM and 11 AM CET. This may cause a short 3-hours outage in which license-related tasks: license key upload, download, update, SSA validation, access to the license pool and Graphisoft ID authentication may not function properly. We apologize for any inconvenience.

The joist tool looks fantastic, i cant wait to try it out!
Thanks! Its pretty fun, i just want to get it more editable before i post it. and dynamic arrays give me a headache after to long ha ha. but ive only been coding gdl for 5 months or so. when i have the time.
I posted some basic objects in the first post. a newel post and a column object.
Well ive been trying not to code since it pisses the wife off quite a lot. but i couldnt help but keep at trying to figure out how to use the dynamic polyline that is the base for so many cool objects on the forum... well i finally figured it out. which means now i can finish my floor joist object/tool. not sure when ill get it done, but ill release a very very pre alpha version once i get the poly line code applied to my mess
Here is the first attempt for the floor joists with the new code. I still have to add stair holes, and double joisting, and lots of other things. probably will find some better ways to do things too. still its getting really cool.

Your wife called. She wanted to know why you seem so sad. I told I thought it was because you hadn't been coding much in the last little while and that it was bringing you down.

She said she thought it would be alright if you coded some more. Not too much. But some.

ha ha ha ha ha good business. I am still coding a little bit... I just have so much code to write and am super slammed with business right now. but ill post a video this week with the second piece of my floor joists tool. Believe me if i could code all day everyday i would do it. But i guess its important to pay bills. whoever came up with that idea... ha. been working on adding model view options to all of my objects that have text and what not. give me another year or two and ill have some cool stuff put together.
Ok, Here is a new video of the floor joist tool. i still have some things to fix and then merge the extendo tube into the floor joist tool. then i have to code the 2d to have some hot lines to make adjustments easier.

the video should be live soon

I decided to just give em away. one day ill work on them again. but here they are as is so people can see how i did them. They all are unfinished and have tons of bugs. so use at your own risk the elec and the bath stuff all have reference files so you will need everything in the download for them to work properly.

James. Thanks for all the work you've done and for posting them to share. Graphisoft should look closely at these objects and the ideas they contain as they are pertinent to a big portion of your user base here in North America.

[A portion that is often overlooked and underserved in the localization for USA, North America - define it as you will.]
