Getting the name of the current user?

Is there a global variable or Request that can get the name of the current user?

I looked in the latest GDL manual, without any luck.

Not that I know of, but I am always wondering if there are any undocumented global variables like the name and ID of the current window. Maybe its just wishful thinking, but I know I have run into such things in the past.

Does anyone know if there is a complete and current list of global variables? If so, is it any different from that in the GDL reference guide?

I know only this one, same as the manual, but more detailed.
