Hedges

Hey all,

I'm putting a hedge into a model as a piece of landscaping and I'm having a issue with the 2D view of it.

In 3D it appears as normal, however when I view it in 2D it only shows as 2 parallel lines.  Is there a way to make it appear more like a natural hedge?

I have previously used a 2D hedge object for this but that's a bit useless.

Cheers

If you are using the 'Hedge 25' (26) object then there is no line control in the objects settings, but you can change the 'floor plan and section' line type.

Also add a fill if you want.

Using the 2D part of 'middle' bits and 'end' bits for floor plan display is what we've been doing as well. AFAIK you're not missing any obvious quick solution in the library.

What might work for you is a simple wall with a sketchy / wobbly line type and some leaf surface. It won't look as nice in 3D or 2D though.

Hey,

Thanks that is what i ended up doing.

FYI for anyone looking at this in the future, here is a link to how to create a custom line type.
