Instead of rendering the flythrough as a mp4 (or similar) opt for
rendering the individual frames as images. You can set which frames to
render and break things up. For example: render frames 1-50, 51-100, etc

As far as I know you can't allign cut fills, so the block pattern is
going to end up being related to the origin of the view, rather than
showing a realistic section. You are better off patching your section up
with a 2D object, in my opinion.
As a workaround you can open your projects directly from explorer /
finder. This skips the home screen. AC25 doesn't have this issue either.
