It must be a bug or..?
In ArchiCAD 28, I can no longer "override" a single door and make one door more detailed than, for example, all other doors?
This is a function I have used repeatedly over time. It seems that detailing is now exclusively controlled via MVO and cannot be done specifically for a single door ?
I think that's a huge drawback if that's the case?
Does anyone have suggestions for another way to solve it?

Hello Magdolna,
Just a follow up on this important matter. I don't see anything about his in the release notes of 28.2.0.
Thank you,

Are you referring to the Archicad update just released or the library update that has been out for a while.
They are 2 different updates and as far as I know must be done separately.

Yes, you are right. I needed to update the library too. But now that it's done, yes they did gave back the override MVO, but you still cannot modify the opening symbol... which was the only logic reason to override the MVO.
How can you differenciate existing than new doors ? Yes the frame and door can be grayed, but still, on huge printed format this is useless...

Daily frustration for me as I only do renos. Don't expect much from this company anymore. They have truely lost focus.

So sad honestly. I sometimes ask myself if there is any architect consulting in that company.
