Since the change to library packs, the loading times of BIMcloud libraries has increased more than 10 fold. See video below comparing the same template loading libraries from BIMcloud both in Archicad 27 and 28. While Archicad 27 loaded the same libraries in around 20 seconds, in Archicad 28, using libpacks, the total library loading time of approximately 2 minutes and 33 seconds just to open a single project template.
This loading time also happens when refreshing the libraries. This is a very long wait time for a user to begin working or update libraries.
Please provide feedback, as this is a serious problem that I suppose most Archicad 28 users have been facing in silence.

This has been an issue for me since AC28.
My work around was to extract / export all the individual packages I wanted to loaded into a single folder (I reorganise them a little so was easier to navigate within archicad) and basically created a monolithic library. Then I only had to load 1 library in TW rather than 30-40 different packages. Yes this does have the drawback that if I want to update or add 1 object to my TW library I have to reload the whole thing again, but this is rare.
It would also be more efficient, (more when not in Teamwork) if you could load a folder with all the packages in it rather than individually load the packages, but even with the release of AC30 it doesn't look like this is possible.

Are you all using BIMcloud SaaS or is this an issue with on-prem installations also?
yesterday
Does this work with Libpacks or are you extracting all the objects out of them into a single LCF as was done with the monolithic method?
yesterday
SaaS. Locally they work fine; haven't tested a local BCB yet.
yesterday
I'm on SaaS.
It is about 30sec to load a TW file with my created monolithic library compared to 4-5min with the 40+ packages. I've tested opening and closing files multiple times etc and it is still the same results.
To be honest Graphisoft / Archicad have made no meaningful updates to the libraries on over a decade. I could confidently use a the library from AC 17 and still get the same results from the objects / macros / zones from the library. It is just a BIM management thing to ensure no missing or duplicate library parts.
