Is it possible to make the tree from the library transparent?

Some tree objects have the option to adjust the pens and fills of the background.
Some others do not.
Graphisoft are aware of this problem as I have brought it up with them.

I have no idea if or when it will ever be fixed.
It would help if you report the problem to your local support as well.

Since the OP does not use the symbolic view but the picture view, I think they mean the image itself.
And sadly Archicad is notoriously bad with transparencies. Wished for decades, to no avail.
Archicad can handle 100% transparency, but anything between 0 and 100 won't work.
