Masonry arch that curves in two directions???

Anonymous
Not applicable
Does anyone know of a masonry arch object that can curve in two directions? Please see the attached image. The arch needs to spring vertically as well as slightly in plan.

This condition happens so much in my current work and is becoming too labor intensive to keep doing manually... I'd love to find an object for this as I don't have the time, nor inclination, to attempt scripting it myself.

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Dan K

Dan,
Is the window also curved or just the brick "casing" curved ?
How do you "do it manually" ?

I made an object that might work but I need to know
these things in order to determine if it would be useful to you.

Peter,
The window is never curved. I always try to do my exterior trim/masonry separate from the window...Too many different conditions and never enough or needed parameters within the window objects themselves.

As for how I currently do it...I'm using Archiforma and manually adjust all the little pieces to conform to the curves...arghhh!

Please tell us more about your object.

thanks,

Dan,
I made an object called "Curved Wall Window Trim.gsm".
It is a window that cuts a hole in curved walls and installs
exterior and interior curved casings.
After the window is placed one then places a regular window
with no trim in the opening created by the "Curved Wall Window Trim.gsm".
Unfortunately, it does not make arch-head trim so it won't work
for your purpose.
I do have to make it do that one of these days.
