Can anybody help me, to make a new line in a zone stamp, that shows the sum of zone areas that have the same user defined line (for ex. a flats or a floors net area)
It would be a big help for me and I think I'm not the only one
Thanks,
Best regards, Ede

To my knowledge you won't get a zone stamp to recognize the areas of other zones and give you a sum.
You can only get a sum of the areas in a schedule.
There may be another way if you are handy with your GDL but I don't know how up to date the information will be.
You could have all your zone stamps write to an external text file adding to the area figure already there.
Then you could have your zone stamp read back this total.
You would have to run a calculation everytime you wanted to update the information as it can't be automatic.
You would also have to make sure that you "zero" the total first every time the calculation is done.
It could be done but is probably better and easier to add them all together in a schedule - 100% live all the time.
The schedule can then be placed on a layout page so the info is in your documentation.

Hy,
Thanks for reply, I'm using schedules and it works fine, but our clients like better to have the sum in the middle of the apartment without to search in a schedule.
I asked on the Linkedin Archicad Forum for an object that solves my/and others problem regarding this issuehttp://www.linkedin.com/groupAnswers?viewQuestionAndAnswers=&discussionID=41356263&gid=796267&commentID=40519105&goback=%2Eamf_796267_82262308&trk=NUS_DISC_Q-subject#commentID_40519105
and I got the answer: it wasn't a big deal to change the zone's script to achieve my wish.
Until I don't get a demo I can't pay for it so I thought, until that I try to make it myself, with less success

why not place your schedule in the middle of the plan as the client wishes but collapse the width of all fields, other than the sum, to zero so they don't show?
