Old Libraries

I have a collection of 'old libraries' such as Hoshino, Transport and People collection which still have some useful items - these don't seem to work in 8.1. Is there a fix or am I stuck with the limited standard libraries.

1. Try the Update library technique from the Special menu

2. See the People&More update tip on ArchiGuide

Unfortunately your people and more library will not work in ArchiCAD 8.1 R1.
It is a know problem. It should have been fix for R2 but I haven't had time to test it, so I’m not sure if Graphisoft had time to fix the problem.

But if you follow Djordje's tips the rest should work fine.

..but you're right Ben the tips don't work with people or more in 8.1 - always an error at line 4 or whatever - BINARY 1. Shame as I need lots of work vehicles and boats for a project. I will search the GDL object sites

Find the 7.0 Anniversary CDs; also, there is bound to be an unsold Transportation library CD lying somewhere at your dealer's office ...
