Old (very) library part text into 8.0.0 R2 edited 040419

We have a number of library parts created a long time ago with ArchiCAD 4. When these are brought into AC8 the text ends up being extremely small. The parts have gone through all versions being updated as we went along and worked fine up until AC7. This problem appeared when we attempted to change the parts from AC7 to AC8. We don't have copies of the original AC4 parts

Is there a way of correcting this without editing the individual library parts?

Try opening and saving them (without editing) in AC7 (you say they work in this version). If they still don't work in 8.1 try the Special menu conversion.
