Painfully slow refresh of previews in favorites palette

Even on fresh installed system with system template. How to speed it up? Can the previews be completely disabled?

I've noticed this in AC28 and I think it has happened with one of the most recent updates/hotfixes. There is also an incredibly annoying bug where the previews appear blank and the only way to refresh them is to change to any proposed renovation status, open the favourites palette, select all the favourites with missing previews, right-click, edit, then click OK and they all appear. You only used to ahve to do this once per file but now it has to be done every time the file is closed and opened again.

I've having the exact same problem. It's getting very frustrating.

Are you on a laptop with two graphics cards - eg, Intel and NVIDIA or AMD?  I had that problem before and if I remember correctly, forcing Archicad to use the NVIDIA card (in the windows graphics settings) solved it.  It was a while ago but the symptoms sound identical and I think that was the solution.

No. Added icon for quick hide/unhide favorites palette in toolbar.

28.3.0 update helped, still not ideal but much better
