Profile Tool - Surface Override (Glass Material)

Anonymous
Not applicable
While using the Profile Tool to make a wall for a quick modeling exercise I noticed that any glass material used within the profile will not show a surface override on the face the profile is drawn from.
Here is a profile that should show two different types of glass. The material used for the glass was the same but each has a different surface override. You would expect that surface override to appear on the face the profile is drawn from, but it seems as though, for a glass material, it only shows up on the edges of the profile object.

The surfaces you are changing run along the length of the profile.
The front face you are showing is the end of the profile wall so can only be controlled by the fill building material chosen in the profile (info box setting - not the surface overrides in the profile settings).
Or you can override the entire edge surfaces in the wall settings.

Thanks for the reply. I was hoping that you would be able to control the surface material at the end of the profile wall without having to create a new building material specifically for the profile. It's also been an issue when I have multiple building materials in a profile with different surface overrides and connect them perpendicular to each other.
