I was thinking of starting using QR-codes on our printed drawings for URL-links

Thank you, I know it's possible to use some sort of QR-code generator from the internet, but I was wondering if there was any possibility to generate them directly in Archicad. And a library object would sound most logical to me.

I too have the need for this, but don't expect it would ever be a part of AC. More so a plugin.
I want to drop a plan specific QR in the title block based on the Job ID, but I want to do this in the template and auto generate so the employees dont mess it up.
The QR link would be dynamic, able to direct clients or employees to specific data.
I actually just though of a way while I was typing this..
You could use grasshopper to build a QR from lunchbox using a plugin (such as QR Code Generator | Food4Rhino - I haven't tested) somehow convert to AC fills and push ArchiCAD which is stored in a layout.
Just thinking out aloud...
I would want to do this before starting the job using RPA on a free pc so it was done before the employees get to it and I don't need all staff to have a Rhino license.
End of day, an ArchiCAD plugin would be the best option, able to source a link from Project Info as I auto generate an .XML file with the Job info and Job ID included then import it when I start the job.
Sorry I keep forgetting not everyone has Rhino and besides if you were able to use RPA, then you could just generate from Python or a web service, open AC and drop in as an image.. Sorry to lead you off the beaten path. I actually wonder if I could build one just using ArchiCAD's APIs...
