Creating custom windows is really easy (see also attached document):

Create custom Doors and Windows

1 Use slabs, walls and objects to draw your window flat on the floorplan facing down.
2 For a free-form wall-opening draw one slab in the desired shape. Give this Slab ID wallhole, the material of this slab is irrelevant
3 Select all items and show them in 3D (projection is irrelevant)
4 Choose File/Libraries and Objects/Save 3D Model as...
5 Write the name and choose the type (Window/Door)
6 IMPORTANT: under options select Editable GDL Script
7 Done!

EXTRA: MODIFY YOUR 2D REPRESENTATION
8 Select the placed window and choose File/Libraries and Object/Open object.
9 Select the 2D symbol and adjust the representation using 2D tools.
IMPORTANT: do not draw outside the windows' width
10 Close the Object window and save or choose save from the top menu.

There is an 'freeform window' object in the depository that can do most shapes -

How come my custom shape window removes the part of the wall above? (see attachment).
Also, a window has a frame, I therefore made a slab (the glass) and a 50x50 wall along the perimeter. If the ID of the glass is WALLHOLE, I cannot select the material of the glass (because it's just a hole in the wall), but I need to have it shown as glass.
In both cases though, the wall above it disappears!
Help pls!

Create 2 slabs.
One with the glass material and no ID.
The other with any material and the ID of WALLHOLE.
It is this wallhole slab that will cut the shape of your window so make sure it is curved along the perimeter of your frame slab.
make sure you select it too when saving as a window - it will disappear and become the wallhole in the object script.
