Slab Separations Disappearing

In 8.1, I made a GDL object of Double Doors, each door being a slab. Where the 2 doors meet shows up fine in 8.1, but disappears in 11. Attached is a JPG of what I'm talking about. This happens with ALOT of the objects I've made, and I have too many objects to change to show a separation. Why is this different in 11?

When I click on the door (in 11), it shows the 2 doors separated, but when I don't click on it, it shows the 2 doors blended.

Because both panels are the same material, they "mend" -- this is a problem that showed up (I believe) in AC10 -- there is a post about it somewhere...

Thanks for the info. Good to know I'm not the only one having problems with this.

So the mystery still is, why do some library parts
show the line and others don't. Do you have
a library part that is coded very similarly to
your pair of doors but does show a line
in the same context as your door ?
In AC 10, I have made several door objects
that are pairs that do show the line.
