Stair Numbering Problem

Anonymous
Not applicable
I am making a stair case, and I don't want to see the treads numbered. I unchecked the "show numbering" box. On the stair's home story it works fine, and does not show any numbers. However, on the upper story, it is displaying numbers on the treads. The only way I have been able to get rid of it is to uncheck "show treads" under "2D above home story". But when I do that, I don't see the treads at all! Is it possible to show the treads on the upper floor without seeing the tread numbers?

You will need to open "All Parameters" and then turn them off in "2D above Home Story Settings"

I've been looking there, but that option doesn't seem to be there on mine...

Which stair are you using? If you created a custom stair then you need to edit the stair

to create the stair, I double clicked on the stair in the toolbar, then clicked "create stair" and chose "U-Turn with Landing" stair. I went into edit stair and still don't appear to have that option.

Tried it and it works for me.
Did you try creating a new stair to see if you get the option?

Seems it can only be done when creating the stair. If I make a new one, it's an option, but once it's made you're out of luck i guess

If that is the case then it is a bug. I can edit them after placing them but I am not using a TW project.

I just ran into the same issue, and was able to find a solution. I would be interested to know DSquad96 - if that is your real name - if you were experiencing the same thing I was.

For some reason, in the Attributes in the stair settings box, there is a Numbering section in the 2d above Home Story settings.
