Structural Glass Curtain Wall Anyone?

hello almight GDL programmers (I really need to find time to learn GDL myself...) I was wondering, after countless searches, if anyone out there has seen.. or feels upto the challenge(?) of creating, a structuralk glass curtain wall. In past projects I've just used the grid curtainwall, and changed the mullion dimmensions to look more like fins, and changed the material to glass... it works... well enough. but theres some missing detail, like the stainless steel hardware, etc. posted below is a cad drawing of the type of stainless hardware im referring to. any ideas.. or suggestions?

cheers,
dan

FMR,

you shouldn't apologize. Your like the "Google" of GDL parts. I have downloaded library parts from many sites you recommended. Thanks, keep up the good work!!!

Thanks Robert for the encouragement

I Search this information for me first and just share it with you all.

Internet is a "changing ground" —the verity of a day is not obligatory the verity of the day after…—, then I remain attentive as much as possible so to maintain my links as good as possible…

Dan : Does the "vetrata structurale" is corresponding to your need…
If it is, you can send a PM to CU Mirco who his registered here or/and take a look to his new site http://www.3dsmile.it/index.php always in italian, always with registration, always with a good download section…

PS You are welcome in Vendée where are a lot of tourists now —Scottish or not…— but can you tell me what is a "Crink" ?

Accesible after free registration —email…—.

With other goodies "Ogetto movibile", "Omuncolo", "Playwind" and "Traliccio"…

Hope that you enjoy it…

fmr,

You are the greatest. You should start charging for your replys.... I take that back... I'd go broke asking you questions. And I'm actually not Scottish, I'm native to America (Detroit, MI) but I travel to Glasgow about 4 times a year, and I'm in the process (the long... daunting process of paperwork) of moving to Glasgow. The "Finestra Strutturale" looks perfect, I'm going to register and download it immediately

cheers,
dan

PS: as far as I know crink means crack cocaine.. but then again I am from Detroit...

I bought the following object and it works fine:

There is also a curved wall option:

Good luck to you Daniel!
