W Splayed Reveal - question or problem?

I have one question if someone can explain or help me.

What is the meaning of the Empty opening (on/off) parameter in the W Splayed Reveal. Now the parameter only turn On or Off two lines in the floor plan. It will be very useful if these parameter will tarn On or Off the rest (thin) part of the after the application of the element.

Or maybe this is a Bug?
