Suresh_rcms, there´s a book on the market maybe you can find it on amazon.com Object Making with Archicad (GDL for Beginners) from David Nicholson-Cole, also you can find more info on this link http://groups.yahoo.com/group/archicad-university/
And for the GDL Tutorials, go to help inside archicad, select archicad help,
and opens more options, the you´ll see the GDL reference tutorial guide.
Good Luck
Regards,
David W

It is in the helpfile (Help menu), and is also in PDF format on the installation CD.
For those without the 9 CD, the helpfiles are also online at:
(INT=English, or GER=German)

While OMWAC (Object Making With ArchiCAD) will teach you how to crawl and make the first steps with GDL, the GDL CookBook will teach you how to run and even fly ... but the real flying is up to you!
Check the ArchiCAD University postings in the Evens forum and contact David Nicholson Cole, the GDL guru. I know that he loves Indian food, at least he did in Dubai in june 2000

David Nicholson-Cole's GDL Cookbook is definitely the place to go after you have mastered everything in the object-making book (which he also wrote) that comes with ArchiCAD 9.
I was hesitant to mention it because it has been out of print for a year while he has been working on version 4 of the book (publication date still not announced).
I see now that his website mentioned that he is selling the PDF version of the Cookbook 3.01 in the interim. Certainly anyone trying to learn GDL should obtain a copy.😉
(Personally, I use the PDF version more than the hard copy anyway, since the search function in Adobe Reader will find many more things than are listed in the index. An added plus is that the PDF is in color.)
See:

and email David directly at one of the addresses listed at:
http://www.nottingham.ac.uk/sbe/cookbook/
to purchase the PDF.
