ac_thickness and AC 15

Anonymous
Not applicable
Until AC 14, the blue parameter "ac_thickness" referred to the vertical thickness of a roof.
Since AC 15, it refers to the perpendicular thickness. Why this change?

As a result, roof accessories are not placed at the correct height.
No matters the settings of the roof.

I hope it is just a bug and not a new feature.

I believe this change has been made because of the introduction of the Shell Tool and the many similarities between the Roof and Shell Tools.
But it seems the Roof Accessory has not been made aware of this change.
I will report this to GS.

May be it is something like that. I have reported to Zsolt Taskai.

If it is a new feature, "ac_thickness" name should be "perpendicular thickness" and not "vertical thickness".
Bug or feature, GS roof accessories need a fix, because they are affected too, not just my scripts.

I reported this months ago. AFAIK it was marked as fixed in 15. But I don't think the updated GS accessories have made it to "downloads"

Yes, I found Ben's report from May. The bug is fixed in AC15 Hotfix 1. It will be released in September. Sorry, it took so long.
