Do you have a library with doors and windows loaded?
Check you library manager.

I too am having trouble with libraries in AC14 today. Yesterday and for the past week since we've installed AC14 have been fine, but suddenly this morning I don't have any doors, windows, or objects.

I am working within teamworks and our shared libraries show to be loaded correctly. If I look to place a new door or window from the library and customize parameters for the object I don't show any doors or windows actually loaded as part of a library.

When I use the library manager to add libraries, I am unable to select a folder to add.

This behavior is very strange considering everything worked well up through yesterday evening.

Thinking back I may have installed updates with iTunes and Quicktime yesterday. Could this be the problem? I know there have occasionally been issues with Quicktime updates in the past.

Any insight to potential solutions would be greatly appreciated

We had a similar problem, Teamwork file, AC14, been working in it for a week. I opened file and no library parts from ArchiCAD 14 Library. Library showed as loaded. Using LM refreshed, updated, deleted and reloaded, nothing worked. Eventually had to unjoin/rejoin the project (after release all of course) to get them to show up. Have not been able to recreate the problem. Assuming that something in my local database got corrupted somehow as it was just for me, other teammates could see all fine.

this sounds like the exact kind of problem I've had. Although leave project and rejoin didn't help. I've just uninstalled AC14 and am reinstalling to see if I can fix the problem. The interesting this is that the other team members working on the project can see things just fine.
Maybe it is a local database issue, but still I would think leave project and rejoin would solve that if that were the case.

I should say that I deleted the local LIB data from the TW Data folder prior to rejoining.

That sounds helpful, but I am finding quite a bit of data in my users/graphisoft/TW Data folder

Just how much should I be deleting? Is it safe to delete the entire local folder for the specific project, or do I need to dig for a specific file to delete?

Thanks in advance

Unfortunately I'm not sure. I would be very careful about deleting unaffected projects. We are still testing 14 before full office implementation so my TW Data folder did not have much in it so I deleted the entire thing. We had also, just before getting 14 had some serious network issue with our BIM Server in 13, we were dealing with GS Support and to make a long story short saved off all TW projects as solo, rebuilt the BIM Server and deleted all the TW Data at that time so I had no legacy stuff floating around when I deleted the whole thing this time.

thanks for the help. I am currently "leaving" all TW projects in AC13 and AC14. Then I'll delete everything and start fresh - hopefully with success.

I hope that GS is looking at this issue. we've otherwise had great success with TW2 both in AC13 and up until yesterday in TW14. I see this as a serious issue. We are only using AC14 for one project at this point.
