lattice and fence

I am looking for a lattice and fence ArchiCAD object(s). I have attached an image of the fence that I would like to model. The portion that I'm showing is a simple shower enclosure but it is typical of all of the fences in this project.
Does anyone have recommendations for a lattice tool or better yet a lattice and fence tool that would model this fence?
There are several lattice objects on Objects Online. Any recommnedations on which one is best?
Thank you,
John

How did you set the sketch renderer to get that effect?

Dwight,
I'm thinking that you are smirking when you wrote this. What you are looking at is a pencil (really an actual pencil and real paper) sketch of the project.

Do you have a lattice that you can recommend?

Thank you,

I was joking.

It is so astonishing to see a hand drawing [that actually describes anything, as compared to my insane doodles] in my practice that one can almost not believe it.

Sorry that I do not know of such an object. - I'd be making the lattice from a bitmap, however. How hard is it to do this with some posts and wall bits?

I'll make you the lattice bitmap for the top in a minute.

to atone, then, for being a goof.

this has an alpha channel to knock out the voids. place it in the texturemap for the internal engine, size it - i guessed at 16" or so. Tell the alpha channel to be transparent and bump, then tell lightworks to match the internal engine.

That might not be all.

you could use truss maker to create a latice. Of course this would mean using it for each section of fence.

Absolutely brilliant and great for closeup. The trussmaker is versatile!

But you'd make the diagonals on lapped planes for shadow articulation.
One set of diagonals, then flipped for the cross pieces.

That shadow is important, as is controlling the opposing grain direction.

In my bitmap - a nasty little thing only good for distant views - the edges of the lattice pieces are lighter to simulate the change in plane.

I got this... diagonal lathe paneling.GSM... from objects on line years ago, and I use it constantly on drawings and renderings. All the ones on my site use it, but these small images w/ sketch settings don't show much.. but I think it's a great object. BTW, easy to link a property object to for take-offs.

I'll post a screen shot with AC's engine.

Beautiful section and elevation, Rick!

What's happening in your elevation with the shutters? The window trim color is showing through in the recess between the shutter frame and panel.
