hey all

so im having a problem with a missing object in Archicad which i cant find anywhere.

after some digging it seems that its a file from AC 11 library. i found AC 11 library and loaded it and no more missing object but when i open the object in object library its telling me that 1 object is placed.

i couldnt find the object in find or schedules or anything. its driving me crazy and wasting my time.

i want to clean the file since its going to be a template for future jobs.

Being a washing machine object, it would have to be placed in a plan view - usually.

Delete the 11 library - you won't be needing it.

Re-load and apply and the library part will be 'Missing' again.

Go to your floor plan and turn all layers on.

Zoom to extents.

You will see a black dot where the missing object is.

Make sure you go to each storey in plan to see if it is there.

If it is not there, check all worksheets and details - it may have been placed in one of those.

Schedules will not pick up anything placed in a worksheet or detail.
