Cannot transfer file from educational to commercial

Hi guys,,~

Have a problem with archicad 10.

i had a .pln file drawn in the commercial version of archicad, but to open it in the educational version,i had to convert it. but when i try to open an educational version .pln in the commercial version, it pops out window saying :

"No data transfer is allowed between educational and commercial projects"

I've read other posts, and nobody else seems to have problem opening the same files in both versions.?

can i really not transfer files between the two versions?

Actually, there are lots of (old) posts on that topic. You have experienced the correct behavior. Commercial can go to EDU, but not the reverse for 10 and below. I'm not sure about 11 - I think something changed there?

If your commercial license is legit, and the need is immense, I'd guess your reseller support could help you at least once.
