DRAWING ON LAYOUT NOT TRUE TO ITS SCALE???

i am experiencing a problem with the scale of a drawing once its on a layout. I have the scale set correctly in the 'views', but when its on the correct sized layout the drawing is way too small when it is supposed to truly fill up the page at that scale. Other classmates all have the right sized drawing on their layouts and mine is just way off when it should be like theirs. I'm wondering if there's a setting I haven't checked outside of the 'view settings' that might be scaling my drawing not at 100%. If anyone can offer insight I would really appreciate it, thanks!

the placed drawing on the layout can override the scale of the saved view. Check the settings of the placed drawing to be sure it's set to the desire scale.
