Floating License not released EVER

When I completely close out of Archicad 29 on my PC and the next day try to open Archicad 29 on my Mac, I have to log in and release the license manually. How can I tell the licensing server to release the license after 30 mins?

A 'floating' cloud license that is not associated with a particular user will be released after 30 minutes or so.

A 'named' license, one that has been associated to a particular user, will not be automatically released.

It will prompt you to release it if you try to use it on another machine.

Your company license admin person can set a license to be floating or associate it to a particular user.

Hi
I think it's an excellent idea. It should be more automated.

I also have an issue with accessing two servers simultaneously on the same machine. Honestly, I find it inefficient.

Are you using a Software or Cloud license? Cloud license do automatically release after 30 minutes as far as I know, and if you really want to, you can manually release the license using the web manager. There is no such functionality for Software licenses.

So the issue was that it was a named licence?
