You can still open an educational file, but it will remain educational.

The professional version will switch to educational while you have the file open.

As far as I know, there is now way to convert an educational file to a commercial file.

Versions 6.5 to 27
i7-10700 @ 2.9Ghz, 32GB ram, GeForce RTX 2060 (6GB), Windows 10
Lenovo Thinkpad - i7-1270P 2.20 GHz, 32GB RAM, Nvidia T550, Windows 11

but insert or import to professional file is there any way to do?

You certainly can't save or convert to a professional file.

I don't think you can even copy & paste from educational to professional.

Maybe give it a try, but I am pretty sure it doesn't work.

You can open the edu file in profesionall version of Archicad, but it will switch to "EDU" mode for the session. All the pln/pla files you will save from this edu file will remain EDU. You can modify them and save them as much as you want trough. Unfortunately, if you have developed your Archicad template while at uni, you will have to recreate it from scratch.

From Archicad 8.5 all the way to the present.
Passionate Autocad hater as well.
Wish to save palets and menus individualy in work enviroments:
