Help with graphics in 3D view.

Hi,

When i select 3D view when drawing I seem to encounter a very strange problem, the view works fine but on top of my drawing it places a mess of lines all over the place, like guide lines or construction lines but i have never drawn them, you can see in the image below.

Is this my graphics card or a strange setting in ArchiCAD?
My machine is a PowerPC MiniMac, thanks!

You need Spider-B-Gone.

This webbing occurs only in spin mode? When you cancel spin mode everything restores?

Not an uncommon problem.

Your system doesn't have enough Video RAM to drive that size and complexity of an OpenGL window. Try a smaller window size or ask for a smaller rednering radius or fewer OpenGL features.

Thanks very much for that response, i would say that I have tried your ideas but i now have lost the perspective view in the 3D window!
Parallel works just fine (with no lines all over the drawing) but perspective is just not showing anything at all, is there a way to restore settings, say from when i started the drawing, I feel like i've changed a setting somewhere that has made this happen, any ideas?

Thanks again!

Forget what they taught you in medical school:

Use the Camera Tool to place a camera aiming at the subject.
Select the camera and ask for a 3D view.

Spinnaay:

While placing cameras is best for established views, take a look at this thread for setting the 3D perspective:
perspective view bug?
