1) How do I rotate the text on a door and window marker? Is it possible?
I have created markers on the floor plan, but unfortunately Archicad has rotated the text in the markers so that they are vertically aligned on the plan , and need to be read from left and right???
There doesn't appear to be any option to just rotate text?
2) Having created those door and window markers on the floor plan, how do I get them appearing on Elevations and possibly sections? Is this possible easily?
Thanks in advance.

You've gotta love the way the Label Settings dialog in Link's screenshot has a panel and parameters that are identified as Marker ... just to make it a little more confusing as to if you are dealing with a label or a marker.

Hmmm. I was testing an answer to someone in another thread, and I cannot reproduce what you've shown, Link, with the US library. 😞
We do not have the same labels that you show, and none of our door/window labels have a 'marker' panel (etc) as shown in your screenshot. AFAICT, nothing is new in 12 for the US market in this regards...??
I hope I'm mistaken...what you show looks interesting.

In AC12 this canallbe handled by the label. That is, the label can show in section/elevation and in plan. You don't even need a marker as such.
It's sort of a return to our roots right? Seems to me that in the old days you always numbered doors and windows with labels, right?
But even if it were not as flakey as reported, would it be easier than using markers in plan and labels in section/elevation (per Matthew above)? Perhaps GS is fixing something that's not really broken?

On the other hand, if this is a difference between the US and INT versions, what would be the point? This does not seem like a regional difference at all. Are they going to release an Obama version and a McCain version too?

Looks like it's part of the INT package only, for now at least.
Cheers,
Link.
